Big, BIG, Flightless Bird News!!!

Alright, for those of you who have been curious to know what my big surprise was going to be that I've been mentioning in other blog posts, well, I'm here to let you know that I am about to reveal the news!

Can I get a drum roll?

This June is the 4 year anniversary of the Flightless Bird series and in that honor, Flightless Bird, Broken Wings, and Fair Feathered will be re-released. That's right. BRAND NEW EDITIONS! The books will have exclusive new scenes, content, and a few teasers of what's to come in the sequels. For all the Flightless Bird lovers out there, don't worry, you won't lose out on Livy and Gregory scenes. There's just a lot more, let's say, awesome packed into these books. I'm so excited for them to be re-released. This has taken a TON of planning so it's going to be epic when it comes out--again!

But wait! There's more!

Starting in June with Flightless Bird, each month after will have a re-release until September. You might have guessed it, Timeless Sky is coming this fall. OFFICIALLY. There was a lot going on behind-the-scenes as to why it's release date had to be postponed. It's tiring, hard, and frustrating to write the last book in a series for a number of reasons but the first is being how difficult it is to say goodbye to these characters that I've held so close to my heart.

It's every readers downfall, the end of a series because then you just sit there and stare at a wall for awhile and think, "How can this be the end? There has to be more!" I know I get so invested in some stories that I never want them to end. Being a reader is hard, and being a writer and knowing that you're writing that ending is even more difficult. Especially the number of drafts this one has been through. Everything has to be just right when it comes to the story.

So what does this mean? The Flightless Bird series will no longer be available for purchase until June. I know, how can I make you wait? All I can say is that the wait will be worth it! :-)

I'm so excited so let's commence a book nerd dance party in the moment. *dances* This summer will be nothing short of spectacular!!
